Inspiration:
Was
inspired by the album 'To Our Childrens Childrens Children created
in 1969.
The concept was a celebration of the first landing on the moon.
My painting is a surreal space scene setting of a Moody Blues space
station.
They had long since left the confines of planet Earth and now live
eternally with their thoughts and minds.
The
Moody Blues are gazing out into the solar system contemplating.
Meanwhile a Moody Blues child looks out in wonder and points to
an astronaut from planet Earth who is exploring the space station.
The astronaut will soon discover the song lyrics of the Moody Blues
on the far wall which will reveal all.
In
the eye of the beholder we look at the Moody Blues space station,
the Earth, where the astronaut has travelled from, and it's attendant
moon.
The sun giving warmth and light to the populated Earth.
