Kevin
Parrish is a self taught, traditional Artist, specialising in black and
white imagery.
Born, Birmingham in 1953, he spent his formative years in the West Midlands. He became a "Live" Artist at Warwick Studios, Leamington Spa from September 2006. Kevin builds up layers of paint while adding more and more detail to make the painting look as real as possible.
He has been a full time Artist since 1995, Kevin has had two successful "sell out" exhibitions with the black and white format at Warwick Studios, Regent Street in 2005, and Warwick Street, a successful Preview in March 2008. Kevin is inspired by photographic material from various eclectic sources including visiting the scene he wants to paint if possible. He is currently working on a series of nostalgic scenes, celebrating life in the vanishing world of the UK, from the 20th century.
