Retro Art

The tone of this website has a nostalgic feel, whether it be Luminaries or Steam Railways in its heyday.
It is a pleasure for me, the Artist to reflect on the canvas some past influential people and events in life gone by.

Tapestry of Life Exhibition

Tapestry of Life Exhibition at Warwick Studios Gallery in Royal Leamington Spa in 2005 Remember 20th century Britain? The days of black and white TV, simplicity and a community spirit. Leaving your front door unlocked. No heaith and safety and security measures to worry about. Smoky pubs and children playing in the streets with freedom and innocence. I have tried to capture some of those memories here. The Exhibition was a sell out! Kevin Alun Parrish (Fine Artist)

Vanishing World Exhibition

Bringing back memories of 20th century Britain in oils. Working in collaboration with Warwick Studios Gallery based in Royal Leamington Spa, the Vanishing World Exhibition was highly successful in 2008, with a virtual sell out of original paintings. I was Resident Artist at the Gallery from 2006 to 2008. Kevin Alun Parrish (Fine Artist)
