Commissioned by Bradford Exchange Ltd., London
The most famous Steam Locomotive in the world at Newcastle Upon Tyne in the 1930s.
Flying Scotsman No 4472 built at Doncaster in 1923 and designed by Sir Nigel Gresley. No 4472 is part of the A3 Class type Locomotive.
There is also a train name called ‘Flying Scotsman’ which runs on the East Coast Main Line between London and Edinburgh.
