The Inspiration:

(freehand and painted in oils)

The Doctor Who and the Daleks films from the 1960s.

They were made in response to the popularity of the Daleks at the time. The press called it Dalekmania and it spawned a documentary called Dalekmania. Following on from Beatlemania and the famous Beatles music phenomenon. The name again coming from the Press.

A magical experience for any aged viewer. These movies have a timeless quality about them and Peter Cushing played a wonderful portrayal of the Doctor. A Grandfather from planet Earth.
