Movie Icons Gallery

Commissioned by Donald Art Company based in the USA in 1996.
I remember first hearing Elvis Presley’s songs during my childhood days (the 1960s) on Children’s Favourites on a Saturday morning, which was broadcast on the Light programme, now BBC Radio 2. Songs were played by Children’s request.
I have watched Elvis’ films/movies too.

I became aware of John Wayne films/movies through my father, who was a ‘Duke’ fan and his favourite film was “She Wore a Yellow Ribbon”
My favourite Duke movie is “The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance”with James Stewart.
Surely two of U S of America’s greatest and most influential Icons.
This inspired me to depict them on the canvas
