The Building is a listed building

The original painting was presented to Monica Fletcher OBE in a presentation box on the 9 August 2017 as a leaving present.

She leaves after 16 years service devoted to the charity Education for Health.

The vehicle parked outside the Athenaeum building belongs to Monica.

History of the Athenaeum

The Athenaeum, the house with a handsome frontage added in the late 18th century was originally the home of Edward Heath twice mayor of Warwick and had been rebuilt after the Great Fire in 1694. It became known as the Athenaeum in 1846 when it provided “facilities for moral and intellectual improvement, by the aid of a library and news room”. To the left of the building is the war memorial.
